Walter P. Gray III Education Endowment Fund Scholarship
Available to eligible candidates for travel and registration for
Workshops coordinated by the Education Committee. All SCA members in good-standing who are students, self-employed, unemployed, or whose employers do not financially assist them with continuing education expenses may apply.
There will be one award of $200 per workshop, with a maximum yearly expenditure of $800 for all workshops.
Each candidate must submit a
Gray Scholarship application form, including a proposed budget listing registration fees, travel expenses, and lodging, by the publicized deadline to be considered for the scholarship. The successful applicant must cover expenses that he or she incurs in excess of the award itself. Award recipients are not eligible to apply more than once within a calendar year. Unsuccessful applicants may apply for additional events within a calendar year, with no prejudice. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered for the scholarship. Education Committee members are not eligible to apply.
Please send completed application form to the Education Committee Chair who advertised the workshop and scholarship. Questions can be directed to either of the
Education Committee Co-Chairs.
Complete documentation on this scholarship is available from the SCA Handbook, Section 4-12.
