BUFFETEnjoy a delicious buffet, catered by Command Performance, featuring options for carnivores and vegetarians alike, culminating in a dessert and coffee bar that is sure to impress. The Museum will provide a no-host (cash) bar offering beer and wine. Weather permitting, the buffet will be held outdoors in the interior courtyard of the Museum. Be sure to dress warmly--it gets cold along the coast when the sun goes down! TRANSPORTATIONThe Museum is less than a mile from the Crowne Plaza, along a route lined with vintage shops and historic landmarks, making for a lovely 15-minute walk. Free parking is available in a lot adjacent to the Museum for those who choose to drive. Due to the close proximity of the Opening Reception venue to the conference hotel, no shuttles will be provided, however, if you have special transportation needs you may contact Cyndi Shein <cshein@getty.edu> to arrange transportation. | TOURThroughout the evening the Museum librarian and curators will conduct guided tours of the exhibit gallery and research library, speaking about some of the gems of the collections.
