By Air: The three Bay Area airports are all options.
Leg 1 of 2--Take the VTA #10 "Airport Flyer" bus, a free shuttle bus, to the "Metro/Airport" VTA light rail station. At the "Metro/Airport" VTA light rail station, buy a $2 ticket at the vending machine (cash only). Then, leg 2 of 2--Get on the VTA #902 "Mountain View-Winchester" light rail train, heading toward Winchester. Ride for 15-ish minutes. Get off at the San Jose "Convention Center" station, one block west of the Sainte Claire hotel. By Train:
San Jose has one train station (named "Diridon") serviced by both Amtrak and Caltrain. The station is at 65 Cahill Street / San Jose, CA / 95110. It is 1.5 miles from the Sainte Claire hotel. From Diridon, you can take VTA's free DASH shuttle, whose circular route through downtown passes by the hotel.
By Bus: San Jose has one Greyhound station. The station is at 70 S. Almaden Ave / San Jose, CA / 95113. It is 0.5 miles from the Sainte Claire hotel.
