Sue Luftschein is the Archival and Metadata Librarian at USC Libraries Special Collections. She has held this role for the last four years and oversees all aspects of archival management for the USC Libraries Special Collections department. She led efforts at USC to transition from Archivist's Toolkit to ArchivesSpace which they have been using the past year.
Who should attend:

The workshop is designed for a wide array of backgrounds, and will cover both the ins and the outs of creating a finding aid using ArchivesSpace, as well as its administrative functions. Participants must bring a laptop that can connect to the internet, and if possible, begin familiarizing themselves with the ArchivesSpace sandbox (http://archivesspace.org/sandbox).
Registration fee includes light refreshments.
Parking at Balboa Park is free. A map of the Balboa Park area is available here.
The Walter P. Gray III Education Endowment Fund Scholarship offers funds up to $250 for registration and travel to SCA workshops.
