Oral History for Archivists

Interested in doing family oral histories but don’t know how to begin?  Thinking of starting an oral history project in your library or other organization but unsure what it involves?  This class will provide an introduction to the basics of oral history methodology.  Together we will discuss: Drawing up interview outlines and questions; Effective interviewing techniques; Legal and ethical concerns; Equipment needs; and Access and preservation.
