At our August First Friday meeting, we will be joined by Courtney Dean, Angel Diaz, Maggie Hughes, Lauren McDaniel, and Kit Messick, who will be presenting on their work on developing best practices for archival term positions.
This August meeting will be the last in our monthly First Friday series of meetings. Now that the state is opening up again and folks are beginning to gather in person, we will not be hosting monthly virtual meetings anymore, and encourage folks to apply to host their own Member-Initiated Events (MIEs). We may host virtual meetings again in the future as needed, and welcome your suggestions!
Please note that the August meeting will actually occur on the second Friday this month, August 13th, in order to accommodate folks attending the SAA conference the week before.
