All Attendee Reception
Thursday, Apr 6, 2023 5:30-8:30pm
Join SCA friends for a reception at the Elks Tower! Stop at the registration table to pick up your name badge--it is your ticket.
The Elks Tower, built in 1926 in the Italian Renaissance revival style, was constructed as the original home for the Sacramento Elks Lodge. Over the years, it has served as host to many businesses and restaurants including local radio station KZAP and the Top of the Town restaurant.
Light hors d’oeuvres and beverages (cash bar) will be served in the historic ballroom on the second floor.
The reception will also feature a live band. The Crescent Katz's off-the-cuff, no-rules, no-arrangements style hearkens back to the days when jazz was party music. and the party never ended. Conjuring memories of smoke-filled bars and Shakey's pizza parlors, these West Coast musicians will make you want to tap your toes and buy a round for the room. Be ready to hoot, holler, and shout with merriment.
