Advancing Equity Fundraising Campaign

The Society of California Archivists can only achieve its goals with the assistance of generous donations from our members. Times are tough, but we hope that you will consider making a contribution this year in support of the following Advancing Equity scholarship and education funds, both of which promote the diversification of the larger archival community.

Advancing Equity: Graduate Education Scholarship – The award is given to students of color pursuing graduate archival education who demonstrate excellent potential for scholastic and personal achievement and who manifest a commitment to the archives profession.

Advancing Equity: Continuing Education Funding – The award provides financial support to individual archivists of color for related training and continued educational opportunities, or to organizations proposing educational events for archivists or archives volunteers centered on the records of communities of color.

The Advancing Equity fundraising campaign is being held this year in lieu of SCA’s Annual General Meeting tradition, the Silent Auction. 

Donations of any amount are welcome.  Those who donate $50 or more during the campaign will receive, as long as the supply lasts, an SCA 50^th anniversary tote bag.  Donations can be made by debit/credit card or PayPal.

SCA is a 501 (c) 3 corporation, so your donation is fully tax-deductible.
